Keswick Island's population rarely exceeds twenty people and there are only two holiday rentals available across the entire island. The home is just a short 200-metre walk to the crystal clear waters of Basil Bay and you'll experience a level of quiet and privacy that’s difficult to find elsewhere in the Whitsundays.
This is an exclusive island destination with access only via plane, helicopter or private boat. Our on-island coordinator can help guide you through your holiday plans, including coordinating access to and from Keswick Island.

Private plane
Arriving by private plane is a seamless way to reach Keswick Island. A short 10-minute scenic flight from Mackay delivers you directly to the island, offering sweeping coastal views along the way. Return flights are typically around $1,300, accommodating up to three guests.
Helicopter
Helicopter transfers offer a direct and memorable arrival to Keswick Island. The 15-minute flight provides sweeping aerial views across the Whitsundays, making the journey itself part of the experience. Return transfers are typically around $3,000, accommodating up to five guests.
Private boat
Guests travelling by their own vessel can access Keswick Island by sea. A private mooring in the sheltered channel, along with 24/7 access to the island’s private boat ramp, is provided as part of the stay, allowing for secure and convenient access throughout your visit.
